Biblically, you can’t separate sexual attraction from being male or female.
Every male or female is a heterosexual (Gen 2:18-25). Jesus and Paul were heterosexuals; they weren’t “gay.” Just as a godly Christian wouldn’t tell a “trans Christian,” “The call isn’t male or female, it’s holiness,” a godly Christian also wouldn’t tell a “gay Christian,” “The call isn’t heterosexuality, it’s holiness.” Faithful pastors and godly Christians tell Christians to repent of sin at the root.
If the above confused you its saying: The sexual identity sin needs to be dealt with so they can live holy. A faithful Christian believes that any sin, including those related to sexual orientation, should be addressed so that individuals can live a holy life. The emphasis is on the idea that living a life in accordance with biblical Christian values and holiness is more important than focusing solely on one's sexual orientation. The underlying message is that all Christians, are called to repent from sin and strive for holiness in their lives.
Holiness is God’s design, and if you are having gay/perversion attractions, which are always contrary to God’s design, you’re not holy; and if you’re not repenting of your same-sex attractions at the root, you’re not pursuing holiness.
These attractions are sin because you’re not loving God or your neighbor in your heart (Matt 22:37-39). Likewise if pursuing non human identities you are pursuing a counterfiet and distorting and denying your humanity; made in God's image, and are pursuing purposes against God's design and will. All are born fallen. Folk lust for and gravitate to a particular sin and ultimately it consumes them. That's why they are gay or delusionally living as non human. Instead of living in the truth of their design & pursuing God and becoming more like Christ... they pursue self and sin.
So, yes Lgbt+ lifestyles are sin. It is the sinful pursuit of a distorted & counterfiet identity and a distorted & counterfiet version of love, that isn't love nor true. Truth and true love is shown by & in God's attributes, and only those born again have the ability to live out that communicable attribute; made in His Image. Sadly the unsaved are self righteous think their own sins are not as bad and thus live as hypocrites. Pretending to have truth and living out skewed morality. When perfect morality is impossible for fallen man to live out, as theyre in the fallen sin nature snd unable to do so.
We born again are called by God to guide the lost into truth; Scripture tells us to get right with God first, then go on mission to help others. And we do so.
These unsaved folk unjustly accuse believers of what is actually true of themselves; hypocrites. But believers who sin... are focused on finding and killing sin in their life. Sinning doesnt make them a hypocrite, the ones Redeemed are pursuers of holiness, seeking to be more like Christ. On the contrary, the unsaved are not. They pursue sin and love it since they're trapped in their sin nature.
All are born in sin, but must be born again to be repaired and restored by and to God, to live out our lives for the purpose we were created and exist.
