Reaching those who redefine love

Q: Pray for this man. I wanted to reach out to him talking about being what Paul called a living sacrifice, but I didn't respond because the comment was a few weeks old.

How would you respond?

A:  The progression into progressivism... there's been a steady pace towards it for a while. Due to the gutting of the true Gospel by those who wanted to create an easy believism version to get mass numbers of people in the church building. Their motives were not for souls being transformed but to gain profit$ and public status of sorts. So those they lured into churches with donuts and various marketing ploys in fact did draw people into the churches, to the detriment of the Church and those who came. Disaster struck. Both because the gospel was perverted and because there was no fear of God being preached. Things were getting out of order... Scripture tells us Go INTO THE WORLD and preach the Gospel. Once someone is saved, bring them into the chyrch, baptize and disciple them, and be active in the Church. It was the place for believers to congregate with the brethren to serve and worship God, grow, and serve other believers. Instead marketers lured in the unsaved and now churches have people in them (if not entirely made up of them) who have not been transformed, they live in the sin nature and are being given positions of leadership including the pulpit where wishy squishyism is being preached, doctrines of demons, and God's wrath, repentance of sin, holiness, living in righteousness and acciubtability to such is not preached. Thus idolators are everywhere from the pew to the pulpit. So it goes without saying perversion is rampant everywhere. 

As to what I would say...

Everyone is born with the sin nature. They start suppressing righteousness from the start and more and more year by year by what they are exposed to; (in life and entertainment), what their parents lifestyle is, shapes them, etc. They see things, and start gravitating to them. If theres abuse trauma they gravitate to something from out of that too. And most are not given the counsel and guidance to have victory over it and move on in peace.

A person is lead by Satan and lives in sin, (Scripture says the thoughts and intentions of the heart are only constantly evil) and "in time" the child sears their conscience, suppresses truth more and more...and lusts after a particular (or several) sins (and sometimes one sin dominates), which can start at a young age.

People fail to realize the devil will entertain children as well. For a 5 years old [living in this fallen world] is normal to have feelings of affection and curiosity… but that it’s not your identity at 5yrs old. We are not sexually mature or aware or self defined at 5yrs old. The Devil lies to us, even as children and tries to plant seeds of deception and perversion. Satan is after our identity, and seeks to destroy, kill and rejoice in humanitys damnation. He continues to deceive and seduce us all our lives, from early childhood. All are born in sin, so they're seduced away by it.

On Love, God is the Creator and we were made in His image. He is perfectly holy and all his attributes, his character and nature, are equally together holy and perfect. His love is far beyond what sinful people can comprehend. He has said while we were sinners while we were his enemies He laid down his life for us in Christ to save us from his wrath, from Himself, from judgment and Hell that we justly deserve. His love was shown in his grace and by what he did. He went to extreme lengths to bring salvation to the grossly undeserved. He was the example of presenting showing us what perfect love is.  Love is also defined as humility in action, and leads to selfless service. 

It has nothing to do with Pride. Pride is the opposite of humility. And the sinner is by nature one who hates not someone who loves. 

Those today who lean towards or embrace the progressivism mindset do not become Christian, whether they're church goer or professing... they are simply unsaved idolators who choose to "make up - in their minds" what they prefer, and follow it. They twist Scripture and follow a false god of their making to suit their sins,, all the while acting/trying to stand in judgment over "the real God" because they, in the sin nature, rebell "from Him and truth" to appease the desires of their sin (sin to their hearts content). They redefine words like "love", and twist it to perversion. crew. Just as Satan twisted things in Eden. Pride was Satan's downfall, so too it is for the Pride crew. Naturally they follow after their Father the Devil because theyre trapped in their sin nature - they dont have a righteous nature to live in truth, embrace truth, or submit to God and Scripture. Its simply that theyre lead away by their sinful lusts because they are not born again.

We are born in sin, Jesus said we need to be born again. We need to receive spiritual life (that only God gives). And in Mark 1:15 he was clear: "Repent and believe the Gospel". It can't be any clearer.

Remember, God reveals to us in Scripture that Light & darkness have no part. That we cannot join Christ with prostitute. Unequally yoked false relationships goes against God's design. It's wickedness and rebellion.

Anyone who claims to be Christian, strike that, any real Christian... lives in righteousness. What this man is doing... is clearly not in line with the holiness of God.

Far too many today who profess Christ, know not Scripture, and that is to their peril. Ignorance of it isnt going to save them from God's coming Wrath. But us lovingly reaching them with the Gospel (and reasoning with them along the way) is the only way; we need to speak truth in love and lead them to the foot of the cross. Salvation, forgiveness and restoration are only found there- through Christ. 

That man has choices, but because of his sin nature he wont live in holiness. He can live a celebate life. He can marry a gay woman. He wont, because he loves his sin. Unless he is born again by God he will continue on the path of progressing perversion and Scripture says much on and is clear on these matters pertaining to it.

Today, it is important for the Saved, the Set Apart Ones, The Bride - to get very equipped biblically on this issue so they can answer their faq and (biblically truthfully) speak to the views held by those in this lgbt+ sex cult [that young people are falling prey to & embracing], so we can address their identity crisis and lead them to Christ by sharing the transforming power of the Gospel. God saves people. The Gospel has the power of salvation for all who genuinely believe & obey it. 

Pray He will save this man [and all others in America & the West who embraced these sexual perversions]. Pray God will send properly equipped people into their lives to plant seeds, water truth, and may it lead to their salvation. 

YOU- 🙂...Keep studying Scripture and lovingly proclaiming the truth, with the hope to rescue some out of it (and Satan's grasp). When one is born again, the old sinful man [the old nature] dies and we are given spiritual life [the righteous nature/the righteousness of Christ]. The born again hate sin as God does and loves righteousness & pursues it. He kills and conquers sin in his life wherever it is found.
